PhysicaLayers was formed in March of 1993 with the intent of focusing on excellence in the design, installation, and maintenance of exactly what the name states, the physical layer of your data and voice networks.

The company’s founder, Al Gregorio has been involved in the data cabling industry since its inception.  Starting out over 25 years ago working on mainframe computers he has been involved first hand in the evolution of technology from main frames to mini-computers, to the personal computers of today.  Along the way he has worked as a Network Engineer and as a Service Manager.  Al brings an understanding of the needs and concerns of the MIS Department and it is from his experience on the service and maintenance side of the computer industry that PhysicaLayers’ commitment to world class customer service and response is built. 

Senior Project Manager Michael Wing has over (11) years in telecommunications cabling and a broad background in mechanical construction.  He holds several certifications from Wentworth College in fiber optic technology.  Michael’s hands on style of project management insures timely completion and adherence to the strict workmanship standards of PhysicaLayers.  

Business Manager Bill Clark has (5) years experience in telecommunications cabling and over (10) years experience in the sales and marketing of computer networking products and textbooks
